Una was born 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20 in. long.<\/p>\n<p \/>Here are some pictures from her first day. And you can see the hospital&#8217;s post at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.torrancememorial.org\/cgi\/baby-browsedb.cgi\" target=\"_blank\">Torrance Memorial Baby Arrivals<\/a><\/p>\n<p \/>We left for the hospital at 12:10 PM. Between contractions Giannina was all smiles, but when they hit on the ride&#8230;No fun!<\/p>\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogger.slimychunk.com\/media\/images\/2005_0328_una1.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogger.slimychunk.com\/media\/images\/2005_0328_una2.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p \/>More smiles between contractions and some relaxing music in bed. We got back from our walk around the floor at 5:20 pm. It all started happening right after.<\/p>\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogger.slimychunk.com\/media\/images\/2005_0328_una3.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogger.slimychunk.com\/media\/images\/2005_0328_una4.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p \/>The moment she came out, Giannina and I were overwhelmed with joy.<\/p>\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogger.slimychunk.com\/media\/images\/2005_0328_una5.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p \/>She wasn&#8217;t so happy right away, but still pretty damn cute.<\/p>\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogger.slimychunk.com\/media\/images\/2005_0328_una6.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p \/>After about an hour with Giannina, Una and I headed to the nursery for a 3 hour routine monitoring.
